The wild cat family at Terra Natura Benidorm has grown with the birth of two ocelot kittens.
The expertise and perseverance of the experts at the park to conserve this species has paid off and the pair of ocelots at the park have produced kittens again. 
Ocelots, sometimes called painted leopards and dwarf leopards are in danger of extinction due to the destruction of their natural habitat and to the illegal trafficking of their skins.
The female will care for the kittens feeding them until they are six weeks old and protecting them from the cold while the male takes a secondary role. Once they reach six weeks they can then ingest pieces of meat and they become fully independent at a year old.
